Do you know Origami?
Paper folding, or "Origami" is one of Japan's unique traditional arts.
It is the art of folding a sheet of paper into various figures such as birds, animals and many other things without using scissors or paste.
Colored sheets of paper which are cut in a square shape are used for this, and it has been a popular pastime among Japanese children.

The koyagumi (roof truss or framework) of the Gassho-zukuri in Shirakawago and Gokayama has become famous, but this structure was previously widely used in Japanese private houses.It is said that the term of Gassho-zukuri came from the fact that the shape of the roof resembles that of praying hands.
These pictures are looks of the under maintenance.
It took 2 days.
We usually do to perform maintenance before winter comes.
Before the snow is deeper, we have to finish a work.
In rural areas, populations are aging and decreasing, so traditional culture is being lost and it is unlikely to be passed on to future generations.
We-Wanosato want to pass along this traditional culture.
